The HJ-112 is the best pedometer I've owned. It's accurate, easy to use, and reasonably priced. Omron is a good name in the business. A useful feature is the memory, which will keep your step-counts for the past week.
We love these stainless steel bottles and use them daily...exercise, car trips, etc. An added bonus is their use inside our home. We have curious toddlers and pets who love to sample drinks out of glasses. Needless to say, we had a LOT of beverage spills before we started to use our Kleen Kanteens in the carpeted areas of our home. They wash up well and are healthier both for you as well as the environment. If those benefits aren't enough, think of all the $$ you'll save NOT paying for plastic bottles all the time!
Great, well-designed bottle, but too big around the bottom to work with most bike bottle holders... Check your holder before buying this, and consider buying smaller bottle!
My daughter loves it, sippy leaks some but still prefer over sigg and definately like better then the plastic alternatives. We got this one with the regular lid and got the sports lid, my four year old is able to remove the lid easily and drink from the cup with no problems.
I purchased this pedometer and I truly enjoy it. I really love the 7 day memory feature because I'm in a walking program at my job and I don't need to write down everyday my steps. I can wait until the end of the week to do so.
This is a great product, but to be honest with the readers and the future costumers or buyers at first i though i was going to regret the purchase for the reason that the "perfect push up" were made out of plastic. This is not a very trustable material when it comes to this kind of exercise products but they really are of great quality. You know many websites and stores have the 30 day trial or money back garanteed, keep that in mind because it is a great product.
P.S. i'm not a sales person!!!
I bought this primarily because it is pbc-free. If you put this in the freezer for a little while it will quickly get the outside (liner) portion of the bottle very cold but it doesn't stay cold for very long nor does it keep the liquid inside cold for long.
I find it ideal for my purposes, am happy with the quality of service and the merchandise. I have 'retired' my old, plastic bottle and am pleased to be going 'green'!
I have done this program and find it to be very advanced, but in general, this is not as difficult as the majority of Cathe Friedrich's videos. Of course, Cathe is a tough act to follow!
P90X is NOT the workout for a person at even a medium intensity level of fitness.
You must bet VERY fit to do this workout and even then you will likely struggle with some of the moves. I know that I did.
My favorite of the series is the "Core Synergistics", followed by "Yoga X" and "Ab Ripper X".
I use the Cardio X, Kenpo X and Plyometrics on easy workout days. They are fun to do and basic. There is no complicated choreography, but Kenpo X must be done with precision to be truly effective.
I thought Yoga X would be easy -- WRONG! Tony brings it on in that video. He is in fantastic shape and has tremendous flexibility and his cast is remarkable.
Pros:
Tony is a great coach and a lot of fun.
I love his cast - they are such an inspiration. and they really work out hard and push themselves.
Many of his workouts are fresh and innovative. He also puts a twist on classical resistance training and I like that. I love the use of the tubing. It is harder and more intense than I thought it would be.
While the tubing is really tough to use, it packs nicely for travel. Try the tubing and if you practice good form, you will feel the burn.
Cons:
The supplements are a waste of money and I found the Millionaire's Club to be a money making scheme for Beach Body. This was a major turn off for me. I want to get fit, not get involved in some scheme and contest to make money for Beachbody.
There are really only 12 workouts, so selling the program as a 13 disk set is deceiving.
I wish the producers had informed Tony that a camera is a mirror image, so his left is your right and vice-versa. I find it to be annoying when he begins a routine and says begin on your right foot and his right is your left.
In closing if you are a very fit individual who wants to take your workouts to a new level, give P90X a try.
I am glad I did because I lost 10 lb during the first 3 weeks of the program.
A very good product for the cost - provides everything as advertised & a very good basic heart monitor that includes compatibility with my gym's equipment. The only feature I miss is not having a summary for how long heart was in zone for specified workout. This is a common feature on gym aerobic equipment.
